Who we are
Joaquin in2 Inclusion (Ji2) is a Texas-based nonprofit and a branch of Eagle Flight Advocacy and Outreach. We aim to create a more inclusive tomorrow. We are a team of caring individuals who foresee a future where children don’t have to be scared of school but embrace it.
Founded in 2023 by Joaquin Rangel — Ji2 was an idea that had been brewing for years. Since 2015, Joaquin has served in education - as a teacher, instructor, and coach - and has worked inside hundreds of schools and classrooms across dozens of school districts.
Joaquin noticed all too often that teachers were not being equipped with the necessary tools to navigate a classroom with a special needs student. Educators were often left overwhelmed and the students suffered. This resulted in a classroom in which special needs children were physically and socially isolated, and consequently bullied by their peers for being "different."
At Joaquin in2 Inclusion, we understand that some friends are different - and that's okay. If we want to create a more inclusive society, we have to educate people and show them that being different doesn’t mean anything negative.
What we aim to do
Ji2 aims to create a more inclusive tomorrow through educating the general public and empowering special needs individuals.
Special needs children are often misunderstood by their peers and sometimes by their teachers. Through education we plan to create an educational environment full of love, happiness, and fun.
