Our Mission
Joaquin in2 Inclusion is dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities by providing resources, training, and support. Our mission extends beyond direct assistance; we strive to educate the community about the importance of inclusion and accessibility, fostering a society where everyone can thrive. Through collaboration with schools, childcare facilities, and other organizations, we aim to create an inclusive environment that supports the unique needs and potentials of every individual.
In addition to serving individuals with disabilities, Joaquin in2 Inclusion is here to uplift our entire community. We engage in a wide range of projects designed to address essential needs, including food security initiatives, clothing drives, oral and personal hygiene programs, and expanded accessibility to STEAM education. Through these efforts, we strive to foster a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone in the community can thrive and access the resources they need to live with dignity and opportunity.

Why the name?
"Joaquin in2 Inclusion"
Often my students would say the name Joaquin as "Walking". It was a funny little thing the kids did and I enjoyed having a classroom that was light-hearted and fun.
I have been inside schools in Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. It didn't matter where I went, Joaquin was always eventually translated to "Walking" or some variation of that.
This led me to keep the play on words and Joaquin in2 Inclusion was born - or as my students would say - “Walking into Inclusion”.
